游戏以“家长在干什么？"的问答开始。

Teacher：What is your father doing now，John？

John：He is driving his lorry.Hc is a lorry driver.

Teacher：And your mother，Ann？

Ann：My mother...perhaps she is...washing....

Teacher：In the evening ask your parents what they were doing at twelve o'clock.

And now，Henry，come here.I want you to do something.教师为了不让班上其他学生听见，便通过耳语

对Henry下达洗手任务。Henry走出教室后，教

师就问："What is Henry doing now？"学生们看着黑板上的动词表，争着说出自己的猜测：Ann：Perhaps he is fetching chalk.

Mike：Perhaps he is speaking over the telephone.

Bob：Perhaps he is washing his hands.

Peter：Perhaps he is reading a newspaper.

大家各猜各的。Henry回到教室后，同学们

便纷纷用一般疑问句问他，以检验自己的猜测是否

正确：Ann：Were you fetching chalk？

Henry：No，I was not.

Mike：Were you speaking over the telephone？

Henry：No，I was not.

Bob：Were you washing your hands？

Henry：Yes，I was.
