Tom起先还能执行教师的命令，但后来由于速
度跟不上就乱了。Tom记不住所有的命令，更不
用说做动作的次序了。
Teacher：Yes，I understand，children，it is dif-
ficult to remember many things at atime.But look here，sometimes your mother or father，when going to workin the morning，tells you to do this and that or not to do this or that，and you must remember them all.Now let us learn to remember commands.Listen to the four commands：take the eraser，clean the blackboard，then put the eraser on the ledge and go backto your seat.Jane，come and do it.
Jane做了 这四个动作。
Teacher：Thank you.
You are very attentive.
Bob，were you as attentive as Jane was？
Do you remember what Jane did？
Bob：Yes，I do.Jane took the eraser，cleaned the blackboard and put the chalk back and went back to her seat.
Mary：No，Bob is wrong.Jane took the eraser，cleaned the blackboard，put the eraser on the ledge and went back to her seat.
Teacher：That's right.
通过这个游戏，教师可培养学生运用一般过去时的技能和熟巧。游戏时，教师连下几道命令，让一个学生按顺序去完成，然后要求另一个学生去叙述他所看到的动作。命令以自然语速下达。游戏还可以分组进行。
