这个游戏可帮助学生进--步掌握-一般现在时和现在进行时的不同用法。

开始时，教师边做动作边问，让学生猜答：Teacher：Cathy，what am I doing？

Cathy：You are picking flowers.

Teacher：Yes.And why？

Cathy：Becausc you like them.

Teacher：Yes，very much，And what season is it？

Mary：It is summer.

Teacher：Why do you think it is summer？

Tom：Because Alowers grow in summer.

接着，由学生表演动作，教师和其他同学按情

景进行问答，教师要把大家的注意力集中到这两个现在时使用的区别上来。

（a）Fohn is weashing.

Teacher：What is.John doing？

Tom：He is washing.

Teacher：Is it morning or afternoon？

Betty：It is morning because people always wash in the morning.

David：It is morning because John is washing his neck，and we wash our necks in the morning.

（b）Ann is watching TV.

Teacher：What is she doing？

Jane：She is watching TV.

Teacher：What time is it now？

Mary：It is eight o'clock in the evening.She is watching TV and people usually watch TV in the evening.

可创造的情景很多，如：The pupil is water-

ing flowers，drinking hot tea，dressing，skiing，playing volleyball，catching fish，sawing wood，feeding birds，等。
